Lately, when I call a friend
they are often met with silence
So, I make up reasons to hang up
With a vain promise to callback,
it drives them crazy!

Sometimes the calls last longer and I get wrapped
in a world of words, other times an embrace of quiet
it soothes my soul!
The why could be the melody in their voices
or the resonance of our heart either way,
it is magic!
